Job Summary

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Mobility Programs, this role provides support to domestic and global relocations including long term, short term and permanent international assignments, and administration of the domestic relocation program. Works in close partnership with the global mobility team and relocation providers in the development, implementation, and execution of the domestic and international mobility policies and appropriate interpretations and monitors vendor performance.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assists in the communication, implementation, and maintenance of global and domestic mobility policies and programs. Provides recommendations and best practice policy and process improvements through regular benchmarking and analysis.
  • Coordinates with third party service providers to provide enhanced, best in class service levels to all expatriates and domestic transferees. Assists with ongoing implementation administration of these programs.
  • Guides and collaborates with business partners and subject matter experts to facilitate business objectives by interpreting and executing domestic and international mobility policies and practices.Escalates individual issues and exceptions to the senior manager in making appropriate decisions and recommendations.
  • Serves as initial global mobility contact for domestic relocation inquiries and matters. Keeps the senior manager apprised on continual basis and seeks resolution to issues.
  • Administers internal processes including invoice processing and payment resolution, internal chargebacks, and ability to learn and act as HR function SME for invoice system administration.
  • Administers global relocation and financial matters regarding tax gross ups, tax equalization, fiscal controls, and general accounting of all global mobility expenses including allowances and reimbursements.
  • Maintains global mobility files in a timely and accurate manner in the shared HR system including updating actions, document uploads, and important notes for each mobility case. Performs regular audits of files, checklists, and documentation.
  • Monitors and replies to inquiries from the shared relocation email inbox. Corresponds with HR business partners, talent acquisition, business managers, and individuals providing exceptional and timely service.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or High School GED and at least 3 years of experience with the administration of global mobility programs.
  • Experience advising on global mobility procedures and or local guidelines in more than one country.
  • Experience on a project management team for example planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives and ability to execute continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency.
  • Experience partnering with outside vendors, including assessing vendor performance, monitoring, and SLA escalation, resolving service issues and reconciling differences.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, in the business community and with vendors.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, strong sense of urgency, critical thinking skills, thrive in ambiguity, and be self-motivated.
  • Experience effectively articulating complex global mobility concepts through oral and written means to individuals and groups.
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Willing to travel up to or at least 10 percent of the time for business purposes within state and out of state.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of work experience with the administration of global mobility programs.
  • CRP and or GMS certifications
  • Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of tax equalization and international tax complexities associated with global assignments.
  • Knowledge of the US real estate market home purchase and home sale processes.
