Establishes and monitors project requirements. Provides ongoing management of project from inception to completion.
Manages a project plan that involves a mid-size number (15 to 20) of team members.
Ensures projects are completed according to time and budget schedules, and that objectives conform to division/dept's overall standards and operations objectives and user requirements.
Defines problems/needs and solutions involving substantial latitude (judgment/decision making skills) in course of action.
Organizes project teams by identifying areas of needed expertise and required skills. Directs the activities of project teams to ensure quality and timeliness of project completion.
Contributes to performance management of a matrixed team.
Prepares standard and ad hoc management reports and presentations for assigned projects.
Drives resolution of project conflicts. Engages with senior management when necessary.
Communicates verbally and in writing with various audiences, including executive management.

Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years project management experience OR a High School Diploma / GED and at least 5 years project management experience.
Experience applying / executing project management methodologies and practices including developing a project plan, charter, scope, project management approach and management plans, such as the statement of work, cost estimates, schedule, etc.
Experience presenting and reporting on project plans to appropriate stakeholders, executives and senior management.
Experience working on cross-functional teams and indirectly managing teams across business units.
Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at various levels of the organization, such as peers, internal/external stakeholders, business partners, senior level managers, executives.
Experience utilizing project management software and other standard project management scheduling tools, such as MS Project and Planview, etc.
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: applying a theme, formatting character spacing, inserting a picture, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, changing chart style and/or formatting font).
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).
At least 1 year experience of cross functional team leadership.
Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
An employee in this position can expect a salary/hourly rate between $98,900.00 and $158,200.00 plus bonus pursuant to the terms of any bonus plan if applicable. Certified in Project Management (PMP) as granted by PMI.
Experience negotiating with outside vendors, including negotiating contracts, prices, resolving service issues and reconciling differences.
Experience driving resolution of project conflicts within a team.
Knowledge of business practices as related to project specialty area, such as IT, HR, eCommerce, etc.
Knowledge of project management financials.
Experience working with strategic planning initiatives.
