Job Summary:
Responsible for establishing, deploying, and sustaining a Lean operating system across the Supply Chain organization, driving cultural transformation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement to achieve strategic goals in safety, service, cost, and productivity. Provides strategic leadership by championing and directing the Lean team and partnering with Supply Chain leaders to identify and execute improvement initiatives that achieve or exceed financial and operational targets.

Provides strategic leadership by championing and directing the Lean team and partnering with Supply Chain leaders to identify and execute improvement initiatives that achieve or exceed financial and operational targets.
Job Responsibilities:
- Creates and executes the Supply Chain Lean strategy, ensuring consistent application of Lean tools, behaviors, and practices across the organization, supported by both short- and long-range plans.
- Partners with Supply Chain executive leaders and external vendors to identify, recommend, and execute measurable Lean improvements to equipment, systems, and operational practices, ensuring sustained Supply Chain performance gains.
- Establishes operational, financial, and quality goals for Lean programs; secures and manages resources and program budgets to enable targeted productivity improvements.
- Generates substantial, measurable improvements in Supply Chain safety, product availability, inventory productivity, and cost productivity through effective execution of Lean initiatives.
- Prioritizes and leads Lean initiatives to advance strategic, operational, and financial performance; develops roadmap and standards for improvements.
- Drives Lean culture transformation by influencing leaders, communicating benefits, and sustaining engagement in continuous improvement.
- Partners with key suppliers to implement Lean methodologies and enhance end to end value streams.
- Collaborates with Procurement to evaluate vendor performance and drive operational efficiencies.
- Evaluates Value Stream Mapping and other Lean methods to redesign processes, accelerate best practices, and deliver operational transformation.
- Directs evaluation and testing of proof of concept initiatives and scales successful improvements across the network.
- Establishes labor productivity and cost reduction targets and proactively removes barriers to ensure successful performance delivery.
- Leads, develops, and mentors the Lean team through effective onboarding, open communication, performance management, and training; builds and maintains employee morale and motivation; ensures appropriate staffing and competencies, and fosters a diverse and inclusive, high performing workplace.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and at least 8 years of experience in a supply chain or business role OR High School Diploma/ GED and at least 11 years of experience in a supply chain or business role
- At least 5 years of experience analyzing issues and trends to drive improvements and solutions
- At least 5 years of experience with distribution product flow
- At least 5 years of experience analyzing data using statistical methods
- At least 2 years of experience utilizing Lean methodologies
- At least 5 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.
- At least 5 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross-functional team leadership.
- Willing to travel up to/at least 50% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
Preferred Qualifications
- Director level role in a Distribution Center, Manufacturing OR Maintenance management area
- Expertise in Lean Six Sigma
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with Prosci Change Management (e.g., ADKAR®)
- Experience developing long-term strategies or tech roadmaps
- Proven ability to develop executive-level presentations and influence senior stakeholders
- Strong background in project management, including managing cross-functional initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to lead requirements-gathering, process design, and workflow optimization
- Based near a major distribution hub
