Job Summary:

Responsible for maintaining the labor management system, and supporting the Distribution Operations team. Reports to the LMS Industrial Engineer. Assists with engineering labor standard updates, LMS training, gain share reviews, and answering questions from the operations team. Conducts analysis of labor standard changes impact to operations, monitoring gain share incentive pay program, and LMS commitment rate. Will work cross-functionally with other Distribution Center, DC leadership, and the team members throughout the facility.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Supports the labor management standards program within the distribution operations. Champion the LMS program, continuous improvement processes and monitors commitment to program within the DC.
  • Manages the Labor Management System with updates, confirming data accuracy, and validating the gain share payouts.
  • Provides training throughout DC to all team members, and answer questions.
  • Applies analytic methods and tools to understand, predict, and/or control operations and processes as requested by business owners on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Interprets data on logistics elements, such as availability, maintainability, reliability, supply chain management, strategic sourcing and distribution, supplier management, and transportation.
  • Works with the Reporting team on any changes within the LMS program.
  • Formulates mathematical or simulation models of problems, relating constants and variables, restrictions, alternatives, conflicting objectives, and their numerical parameters.
  • Defines data requirements and gather and validate information, applying judgment and statistical tests.
  • Reviews and analyzes information regarding alternative courses of action to determine which plan will offer the best outcomes.
  • Transforms large amounts of raw data into actionable information for presentation to business managers in report format. Builds and maintains automated reports using ASP, Business Objects, Reporting Services and Excel. Disseminates reports to a wide range of stakeholders across the organization and audits variations between operational and financial numbers. Defines and evaluates problems and recommends solutions.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree OR a High School Diploma / GED and at 3 years of experience in an analytical role in operations and/or business management
  • Experience reviewing and analyzing data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
  • Basic level skill in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of experience in a Distribution, Fulfillment Center or Manufacturing environment or analytical role.
  • At least one (1) year of experience with Structured query language (SQL).
  • Experience identifying operational issues, recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems, performing systems analysis.
  • Experience communication/translating technical terms to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience estimating the quantifiable characteristics of products, Events, or Information, such as estimating sizes, distances, and quantities; or determining time, costs, resources, or materials required for a project.
  • Experience performing systems analysis, such as determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment affect outcomes.
  • Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their application to operational problems.

Salary Range$60600 - $97200 / Salaried
