Job Summary:

Responsible for targeting, qualifying and selling 340b Complete to smaller/local Heath Systems and Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC). Gains access to decision-makers at potential clients and presents a compelling offering that meets/exceeds the client’s requirements for quality, service, and pricing. Grows business by positioning other integrated Company product offerings and services targeted at achieving/exceeding Company growth goals. Responsible for account management and cultivating existing 340b accounts and smaller hospital relationships as assigned.

Preferred candidate will sit in the Los Angeles market.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Sells 340b and health system pharmacy; where applicable, up sells integrated product offerings to potential clients. Develops, implements, and assesses a client services models targeted at optimizing client satisfaction and retention. May plays an integral role in a team approach in closing a potential client. Attains or exceeds new sales goals.
  • Responsible for managing existing business and growing assigned business segment. Attains or exceeds growth goals.
  • Sells baseline service; 340 B and HSRx where applicable and up sells integrated product offerings to potential clients.
  • Updates and provides ongoing maintenance of appropriate CRM and other compliance/tracking systems so that leadership is apprised on an ongoing basis of pipeline status of clients, achievement against plan, win/loss ratio, and other essential business information.
  • Recommends product offering modifications that are requested by clients or provide revenue/margin enhancements for the company.
  • Maintains awareness of current marketplace, competitors’ offerings, and contract status to more effectively address potential clients’ expectations and to overcome objections.
  • Assists leadership with the development and implementation of sales budgets, profitability targets, opportunity analyses, and special projects. Collaborates and shares best practices with leadership and other colleagues.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3 years of experience in diverse health care in areas such as pharma, retail pharmacy, managed care and 340b. Experience in CRM (Sales Force), business intelligence and basic finance.
  • At least 3 years of experience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels within an organization, including C-Suite and Executive level meetings.
  • Experience collaborating with internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timelines.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of federal drug programs, community health centers, critical access hospitals, rural and small hospitals. Completion of 340b University and/or advanced understanding of 340b.
  • Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
  • Intermediate skill in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and other CRM programs.
  • At least 1 year of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross functional team leadership.
  • Willing to travel up to 50% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience or background in Public Health or Public Administration.
  • Experience in 340B, Specialty Pharmacy, Ryan White, or other Government funded safety net healthcare programs.

Salary Range$108790 - $174020 / Salaried
