Job Summary
The Business Process Manager (BPM) of Inventory Management Segmentation Development role is responsible for identifying, designing, and rolling out new systems and processes that improve Walgreens’ Inventory Management segmentation approach.
This position is part of a broader team whose mission is to improve the return on investment (ROI) that Walgreens achieves from its retail store, eCommerce, and distribution center inventory, tuning our systems and refining our processes to achieve optimal in-stock levels for specific SKUs and for broader customer choice sets.
Segmentation is crucial to our mission because not all of our decision making can be done at the SKU level. Where our systems or processes require us to group SKUs together, the way that the grouping is performed (i.e., our segmentation methodology) will determine how effectively we can achieve our desired outcomes.
Day-to-day duties include heavy data analysis, process management, and value targeting / value creation.

Job Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of experience in a supply chain or business role OR a High School Diploma/GED and at least 4 years of experience in a supply chain or business role.
Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using AVERAGE function, merging and centering cells, printing centered page and/or creating a pivot table).
Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s Degree in Statistics, Applied Analytics, or a related field, or an MBA.
• 3+ years of experience in data modelling, visualization, root cause analytics, and insights reporting.
• Experience with SAS, Microsoft Azure, generating complex SQL.
