Job Summary

An employee in this position can expect a salary/hourly rate between $195,625 and $244,800 plus bonus pursuant to the terms of any bonus plan, if applicable. Salary Range: $127500 - $204000 / Salaried

Job Responsibilities
- Analyzes proposed draft regulatory comments relating to retail pharmacy issues, including public andprivate payer reimbursement issues.
- Collaborates with members of Walgreens Pharmacy Retail Operations team to understand andprovide feedback surrounding proposed regulations.
- Collaborates with the Federal and State Government Affairs team to proactively address passedlegislation, coordinate feedback and input on GA developed policies and provide feedback surrounding proposed bills.
- Researches and stays informed about policy trends potentially impacting the pharmacy industry.
- Engages with stakeholders, both within and outside Walgreens, about pharmacy-related issues.
- Develops and executes strategies for engaging with public policymakers and the broader pharmacycommunity around issues important to Walgreens and the people we serve by utilizing pharmacyexpertise.
- Drives key pharmacy retail operations policy issues and provide solutions consistent with businessgoals in collaboration with Pharmacy Regulatory Affairs team.
- Partners with legal and compliance to manage enterprise litigation and regulatory compliance risks,with an emphasis on driving policy changes that reduce risk and increase business flexibility.
- Provides industry leading expertise and input on Retail Pharmacy, Specialty, Health Care Clinics, andemployer issues to internal colleagues and external consultants as needed.
- While not a formal lobbying position, may represent the Company at legislative/regulatory hearingswith the intent of supporting and influencing the delivery optimal patient care and the enhancementof the Company as a provider of preference for such services.
- Functions as Company subject matter expert in the area of pharmacy legislation/regulation andprovides guidance /training on such subjects as requested.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited educational institution and at least 4 years of retail operations and project management experience. The experience should be in retail and healthcare operations, regulatory or healthcare public policy.
- Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing and organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
- Experience developing policy and executing healthcare operational strategies.
- Experience analyzing, assessing and communicating policy research.
- At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.
- At least 2 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and or cross functional team leadership.
- Willing to travel up to 40 percent of the time for business purposes within state and out of state.
