Job Summary
Responsible for the design, development and communication of Performance Management strategies for Walgreens. Responsibilities include the design and program evaluation of the organizational performance management processes, the design and delivery of performance evaluation strategies to drive team member behavior, and support for the translation of business strategy into individual goals and objectives for business units.

Job Responsibilities
  • Leads the design, development, and communication of the company-wide PerformanceManagement cycle including Commit, Connect and Reflect conversations and the annual performance review and calibration processes.
  • Builds and improves program management strategies to assess the effectiveness of performancemanagement processes and supports connecting business goals to individuals. Builds process changes or additional change management and communication strategies as needed.
  • Proactively identifies activities regarding the ongoing design and enhancement of currentperformance management framework to ensure it effectively meets the changing needs of thebusiness from a process and data perspective.
  • Supports the design and delivery of talent management and frameworks (succession planningand talent review).
  • Oversees the development and communication of tools and resources to support team members, leaders and HRBPs in the delivery of the performance management process.
  • Oversees the development of presentations, manuals/handbooks, marketing materials, technicalreports, HR Portal content, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) communications and other
  • communications.
  • Partners with critical stakeholders to ensure the execution of performance managementprocesses. Critical stakeholders include HRBPs, professional services, communications, learningand development and compensation teams.
  • Collaborates and partners with HRBPs and business partners to provide coaching, support, andclarity of expectations on organizational performance management process.
  • Ensures compliance with all legal and audit requirements.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree at least 2 years OR High Performance management School/GED + at least 5 years
  • Experience benchmarking and evaluating Performance Management practices through external and internal research.
  • Experience developing Performance Management strategies aligned to business needs.
  • Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
  • Experience with project management (for example: planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives).
  • At least 1 year of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross functional team leadership.
  • Willing to travel up to/ 10% at least (choose one) of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology
  • Experience with performance management in a healthcare setting
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: applying a theme, formatting character spacing, inserting a picture, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, changing chart style and/or formatting font).
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).

Salary Range$98900 - $158200 / Salaried
