Job Summary
Responsible for leading a list of Capital Projects for Walgreens Retail and eCommerce distribution centers. The types of projects include, but not limited to, Material Handling (Conveyor, Sorters, ASRS, Robotics), Facilities (HVAC, Roofing, Pavement, Electrical Systems), Safety, and Controls Systems.
Responsible for the full project lifecycle while partnering cross-functionally with Operations, Maintenance, Safety, Finance, and Procurement. As a part of a matrixed environment, they will report directly to a Manager, Supply Chain Engineering, while learning and being mentored by a team of Senior Project Engineers. As a result, this position will play various support roles for larger projects or network-wide programs.

Job Responsibilities
- Leads Capital Projects through entire project lifecycle from Initiation, through Execution, to Close.
- Leads development of Project schedules, financial analysis, and solution designs.
- Coordinates with field management staff on project implementation and priorities.
- Cross-functional partnership with Field Maintenance, Industrial Engineers, Safety, Operations,Finance, and Procurement.
- Develop and manage annual Capital Project budgets and contract documents, including any needfor cost justifications, RFPs, change controls, and purchase orders.
- Develop, document and update Distribution Center equipment standards and SOPs for Supply ChainEngineering.
- Support role for large Capital Projects (>$1M).
- Meets with vendors as part of equipment procurement process and system design.
- Manages tight control of project documentation throughout lifecycle, including proper assetturnover to field resources.

Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS + at least 1 years OR High School/ GED + at least 4 years Experience in Supply Chain
- At least (1) Internship or Co-op within Supply Chain specialty, Material Handling technology, or Large Facility Systems (HVAC, Fire Alarm, Roofing, etc.).
- Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360, etc.)
- Experience with analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products: Excel, Project, and Outlook.
- Willing to travel up to 20% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing facility designs and solutions to efficiency and operational problems.
- Experience with project management (for example: planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives).
- Experience in financial modeling and managing budgets.
- Experience with Microsoft PowerBI or other Business Intelligence tool.
- Experience with operations management and quality improvement.
- Knowledge of engineering and industry concepts and trends that will increase efficiency and resolve operational problems.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma/ Lean processes.
- Elevated level of interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and writing).
Salary Range$79300 - $127000 / Salaried
