Job Summary

Leads the development of strategic recommendations to support stakeholder expectations for Healthcare Value Proposition.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for leading, implementing, evaluating potential capabilities and services that could strengthen the value proposition to Walgreens various B2B healthcare customers. Makes recommendations to senior management based on B2B customer needs, market trends and internal Walgreens assessments. Works closely with senior management in an effort to develop and implement department goals, objectives, and systems that correspond with the organizational strategy.
- Leads the design and implementation of new offerings, for example; determining operational and financial design elements of new offerings.
- Reviews business cases for recommended offerings, and presents to Senior Management to secure necessary approvals.
- Collaborates cross functionally to create, refine and integrate solutions; may also work in close collaboration with B2B customer organizations on co-developed offerings. Interacts with direct reports and peers in management / customers / vendors to share information and improve cross-departmental processes.
- Identifies and develops approaches for monitoring and measuring the success of new value proposition offerings. Actively participates in broad and complex business development programs. Keeps project team accountable to ensure projects achieve critical milestones and timelines.
- Prepares and delivers presentations, updates and reports to senior management on progress of overall program and select initiatives.
- Develops strategies for area of specified responsibility and works cross-functionally to create actionable goals to be implemented accordingly for expected/anticipated results. Performs as subject matter advisor to functional area and may become actively involved, as required, to meet schedules and resolve problems highly complex in nature. Advises and makes actionable recommendations to stakeholders on strategic initiatives related to area of expertise.
- May develop budget for functional area. Accountable for area budget and delivering against business goals/objectives.
- Manages managers, supervisors and individual contributors. Allocates available resources to meet operating objectives. Ensures the ongoing training and development of direct reports. Develops and mentors staff through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes; builds and maintains employee morale and motivation; ensures the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies; fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience in one or more of the following: product management, product development, business strategy development or at least 4 years of experience in strategic management consulting OR High School Diploma / GED and at least 7 years of experience in one or more of the following: product management, product development, business strategy development or at least 7 years of experience in strategic management consulting.
- Experience with project management (for example: planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives).
- Experience using business analytical skills including facilitating requirements sessions and documenting activity workflows and business requirements.
- Experience in identifying operational issues, recommending, and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
- Experience collaborating with internal resources and external resources to develop strategies that meet department goals.
- Experience developing ways of accomplishing goals with little or no supervision, depending on oneself to complete objectives and determining when escalation of issues is necessary.
- Experience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels within an organization.
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: applying a theme, formatting character spacing, inserting a picture, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, changing chart style and/or formatting font).
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).
- At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace
- At least 2 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership or cross functional team leadership.
- Willing to travel up to 25% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree OR MBA
- Experience in the healthcare industry and knowledge of current trends.
- At least 4 years of experience in healthcare operations.
- Experience implementing go-to-market strategies.
Salary Range$115400 - $196200 / Salaried
