Job Summary
Responsible for collecting information related to quality events. Responsible for supporting the development and implementation of business objectives for patient safety and pharmacy integrity. Supports multiple business groups within the Patient Safety Organization and supports applications and rollout and maintenance of patient safety-related products, programs, and services into Walgreens stores.

Job Responsibilities
- Audits STARS events – audits events that occur in STARS.
- Collects data related to prescription quality events through queries of STARS using Business Objects.
- Downloads the data into spreadsheets, saved on the central Drive, to be analyzed by the Business Analysts.
- Supports Business Analysts (BA) in data preparation for further analysis by the BA.
- Communicates findings to Business Analyst for further review.

Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED and at least 1 year of experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in a Retail Pharmacy environment.
- Required certification in PTCB as granted by the appropriate state licensing authority.
- Experience communicating both verbally (on phone, one-on-one, to groups) and in writing (emails, letters, reports, presentations) to various audiences (work group, team, company management).
- Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: opening a workbook, inserting a row, selecting font style and size, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste and save functions, aligning text, selecting cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a column, selecting a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting margins, selecting page orientation, using spell check and/or printing worksheets).
- Basic skill level in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: inserting, rearranging, hiding and deleting slides, navigating between slides, increasing list level, adding, centering and editing text, changing views, inserting a table or a note, moving objects, printing outline view and/or running a slide show).
- Basic level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: opening a document, cutting, pasting and aligning text, selecting font type and size, changing margins and column width, sorting, inserting bullets, pictures and dates, using find and replace, undo, spell check, track changes, review pane and/or print functions).
- Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Business Objects.
- Experience with Intercom Plus.
- Experience with STARS.
Salary Range$15.38 - $23.17 / Hourly
