Training Instructor - Micro-Fulfillment Centers

Job Summary:

Facilitates training curriculum to team members across the Micro Fulfillment Centers that are designed to provide the skills and foundation for a successful career. Work with various departments and teams within the organization to deliver effective training programs, ensuring training experiences are consistent with company-wide policies, procedures, and strategies. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure that the training content is accurate, relevant, and effective. Responsible for creating a positive and effective learning environment that enables learners to achieve their goals and enhance their skills and knowledge while delivering organizational value.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design, prepare, and maintain effective learning activities and materials that cater to the needs and goals of the learners. Contributes to the development of new training material by providing insights and sharing lessons learned.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to regularly update content ensuring materials and training delivery reflect current organizational processes, compliance, regulations, and resource capabilities.
  • Delivers instruction that is clear, concise, and engaging to help learners grasp the concepts being taught. Provides support to team members, after training has been completed, in the form of coaching and mentoring.
  • Coordinate volunteers from various sites to assist with training of new launching sites.
  • Assist in the development, update, and maintenance of training programs for prescription filling, processes, medication dispensing, quality control, and safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and assessments.
  • Stay current with pharmacy regulations and guidelines related to prescription filling and ensure that all training materials align with the regulations.
  • Build partnerships with site leaders and Sr. Pharmacy Technicians.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED and at least 2 years’ experience delivering formal training on how to interact with a customer.
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: applying a theme, formatting character spacing, inserting a picture, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, changing chart style and/or formatting font).
  • Experience applying knowledge of principles of adult learning to training delivery.
  • Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
  • Experience facilitating group discussions (including scribing, recording, timekeeping, and leading discussions).
  • Experience in providing training and developing process documentation/user manuals.
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships within a team.
  • Registered Technician/licensed pharmacy technician in the state where working; if applicable per state Board of Pharmacy requirements OR Willingness to earn a state pharmacy technician license.
  • Willing to travel at least 25% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Training, Education, Organizational Development, or related area of study,
  • Project Management experience.
  • Registered Technician/licensed pharmacy technician in the state where working, if applicable per state Board of Pharmacy requirements. OR Willingness to earn a state pharmacy technician license.

Salary Range$22.31 - $33.39 / Hourly
