Job Summary

The Reliability Planner Scheduler will use their comprehensive understanding of systems reliability, maintenance and associated work flow processes to execute the sites asset care strategy, driving system reliability, uptime, in the automated distribution environment. A solid understanding of maintenance reliability methodologies such as Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Predictive Maintenance (PdM), Condition Based Maintenance and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is critical to success. Proactively tracks department and site metrics and KPI’s to understand opportunities to drive reliability. Responsible for the overall maintenance work load and will coordinate all proactive maintenance and reliability efforts. In depth knowledge of automated material handling systems (MHE) including conveyor, sortation, storage retrieval machines as well as building systems is required to scope, plan and schedule maintenance activity. Partners with the sites Reliability Maintenance leadership team, Technicians and operational leadership to plan and coordinate work. Leads continuous improvement efforts, driving equipment uptime and process efficiency among others. Responsible for preparing technical documents, reports and make recommendations to leadership.

Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for ensuring equipment reliability (uptime) through coordination and alignment of resources, processes and schedules.
  • Responsible for coordinating and prioritizing all preventative and planned maintenance activities across complete maintenance operation, i.e. all shifts.
  • Owner of the workload planning and scheduling process. Assigns preventative and planned work load to all technicians.
  • Reviews all planned work requests for viability and priority.
  • Works closely with maintenance and operational leadership to coordinate and communicate maintenance schedules.
  • Responsible for monitoring, interpreting and using maintenance metrics and KPI’s to adjust maintenance plans driving equipment reliability.
  • Champions maintenance project and equipment overhauls.
  • Reviews all completed work to understand state of equipment and reconciles against planned work needs.
  • Audits completed work, provides feedback to technicians and management.
  • Audits work processes and recommends processes improvement to maintenance leadership. Drive continuous improvement efforts with tangible, trackable results.
  • Participates in vendor management activities include but not limited to:
    • Schedule and organize vendor meetings and develop bid documents for pricing.
    • Reviews and reports, discrepancies in vendor orders, pricing, deliveries, and warranties.
    • Tracks and closes all vender work orders and compiles into CMMS system.
  • Exercises independent judgment, discretion, and confidentiality in performing daily work tasks.
  • Supports safety program and all required documentation.

The actual salary an employee can expect to receive, plus bonus pursuant to the terms of any bonus plan if applicable, will depend on experience, seniority, geographic location, and other factors permitted by law. Basic Qualifications

  • High School diploma and at least 4 years of experience in an automated distribution, fulfilment, manufacturing maintenance or related environment.
  • At least 4 years of experience working with a CMMS system and proficient in maintenance workflow processes.
  • At least 2 years of experience using data, metrics, reporting to solve problems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be willing to perform other duties as assigned.
  • Willing to travel up to 5% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Must be willing to work alternative shifts as needed.
  • Must perform root cause analysis (RCA) on all critical system outages/failures and present findings to the maintenance leadership team.
  • Must have strong working knowledge of Predictive Maintenance (PdM) tools and associated methodology to drive reliability and an increase in the asset lifecycle.
  • Must have strong working knowledge of inputs to maintenance reliability.
  • Must be subject matter expert in all material handling systems.
  • Must have high proficiency working in CMMS systems to schedule work, execute reporting functions, gather data for analytics

Salary Range$31.61 - $48.19 / Hourly
